Vancouver Foundation generously supports our Access RDSP project partnership including the Endowment 150 grant. Through this project we are able to provide supports and services around the RDSP and the DTC and spread awareness of this important savings tool.

The Law Foundation of BC has supported numerous Plan Institute projects such as the Safe & Secure book and our Will, Trust & Estate Planning workshops. Their most significant investment has been in the RDSP; A major grant from the foundation enabled us to do legal research, learn how Ottawa works and develop a strategy.
Vancity put their trust in us before we had a track record. Vancity funded the first Safe & Secure, sponsored Will, Trust & Estate Planning workshops for families and has managed smaller trusts for PLAN families.

The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation has a long history of supporting PLAN & Plan Institute. They assisted us to be entrepreneurial and self sufficient, and one of the core funders in researching and campaigning for the RDSP. Currently, their support is crucial to the work to transform the ability of individuals, families and the disability sector to withstand changing economic circumstances and government commitment.
Through our community partnerships we collaborate on projects and initiatives with the common goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Disability Alliance BC (DABC) is an important partner within the Access RDSP partnership, providing the public with support around the Disability Tax Credit as well as doing RDSP outreach throughout BC. We are thrilled to be working with them.
Through the Access RDSP partnership, BC Aboriginal Network on Disability Society (BCANDS) is providing the essential component of doing outreach and providing RDSP support to Indigenous communities. Furthermore, we are working with BCANDS to adapt Safe and Secure: Seven Steps to a Good Life for People with Disabilities for the Indigenous community. We are very excited to be partnering with them on these initiatives.
Together with Prosper Canada we developed the RDSP Calculator which provides people with an easy way to try out various RDSP scenarios. We are currently working on aFuture Planning Tool which will be launched later this year. These initiatives would not have been possible without their support.
We work with Ability Tax and Trust Advisors on various initiatives around supporting RDSP uptake as well as supporting families to access the RDSP and Disability Tax Credit (DTC).
