The Skoll Foundation recently announced August 5 2008 as the next deadline to apply for the Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship. The Awards recognize social entrepreneurs whose work has the potential for large-scale positive change in the areas of environmental sustainability, health, tolerance and human rights, institutional responsibility, economic and social equity, and peace and security.
