At Plan Institute, one of our main focuses has always been to help people living with disabilities and their families navigate the complex planning and decision-making processes required to secure a strong financial future. Over the past 20 years, we have worked with countless families, community partners and like-minded organizations to develop 5 useful tools to help people with disabilities and those who care for them to plan for the future.
1) The Disability Planning Helpline
Our Disability Planning Helpline allows anyone living in Canada to call our toll-free Helpline anytime for one-on-one disability planning support. Our helpful advisors walk callers through the process of applying for the Disability Tax Credit, setting up a Registered Disability Savings Plan, arranging their wills, planning their estates and much more. Since it’s inception, our Helpline has served more than 6,000 callers and assisted them in planning a secure financial future for themselves and their families.
