Past Events

Over the years we have been involved, hosted or facilitated a number of community events and workshops.

Past Workshops

Beyond Graduation
An interactive workshop intended for those with disabilities and their families who are about to graduate or have recently graduated. Participants will examine options and gather information on the next steps to take in this important transition.

Home Options
This course is designed to start the exploration of long-term housing security and home ownership. We combine stories, videos and information, with practical planning tools.  As well, there is a discussion board and chat room so course participants can interact with each other by sharing stories, asking questions or offering ‘food for thought’. Our goal is to develop a dialogue around ‘home’, to identify options that may work for you and your family, and define the path ahead.Home Ownership

A Good Life & A Good Death
Facing the future with confidence means planning for the end of our lives. In this workshop families will walk away with a preparation check list, understand the importance of talking with and preparing family members, useful resources and tools to secure the future, and a clear vision for “A Good Death”.
