The Disability Tax Credit (DTC) is a non-refundable federal tax credit that can help reduce the amount of taxes owed by a person with a disability or someone who supports them. It is also a gateway benefit that gives access to the Canada Disability Benefit and RDSP.

We will explain what the DTC is and how to make the best use of it, information about eligibility criteria, misconceptions about the DTC, application tips, and what happens after you apply. We will end with a 45 minute Q&A period with a DTC specialist.
